Food Services

Smiling girl sits with lunch trayGood nutrition and academic success go hand in hand!

Our Food Services Department consists of a team of food and nutrition professionals who are dedicated to our students' health, well-being, and ability to learn. We support academic success by providing healthy meal choices while promoting lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

We provide students with complete hot lunch meals. Students may also bring their lunches to school. Whether brown-bagging or buying meals, we invite all students to eat in the cafeteria.

National School Lunch Program

Pomerene School participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The NSLP is a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low cost or free meals to qualifying students. The food and beverages we sell or serve on our campuses meet the state and federal requirements, which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.

Pomerene Elementary School participates in a free and reduced lunch program. All families will have an opportunity to complete the application forms.
