Student Organizations

Participation in student organizations helps students develop a sense of camaraderie and make friendships based on common interests. We encourage all Pomerene students to get involved and have some fun while they learn new skills.

Student Council

Students elect their peers to represent the student body at Pomerene Elementary. These students organize fundraising activities, assist with kindergarten roundup, and serve as leaders of the school.

Student Mentors

A mentor is defined as "a wise and trusted counselor or teacher." Our student mentors are kind, mature, and gifted students who tutor their peers during recess and after school as well as set fine examples for all of the student body.

Yearbook Committee

Students on the yearbook committee are primarily responsible for taking pictures for the end-of-the-year publication. These students must also demonstrate well-developed writing and computer skills.
